CHAINSAW MAID

Posted by KAGE on Jul 07 2009 | Ontspanning

Found this funny lil clip on a friends facebook page. If you love zombies and you love claymation or you just love maids, then you will die over CHAINSAW MAID.

This is quite possibly the cruelest and coolest claymation I’ve ever seen and satisfies my unhealthy obsession with zombies.

Seinfeld A XXX Parody Official Trailer (Slightly NSFW)

Posted by KAGE on Jul 06 2009 | Ontspanning

Yes, it is true. They took a show (my favorite show) about nothing and made a porn parody about a show about nothing. The interesting thing is, it actually looks pretty good. As far as porn goes, the acting is not bad and the jokes are kinda funny. And then there is the sex. Looks like a lot of thought was actually put into this production as opposed to the “wham-bam-splat” that is usually archetypal of porn.

Seinfeld: A XXX Parody
All your favorite characters are parodied with Gerry, Elaina, Gorge, Crammer, Noman, Regina, Teri, The Porn Nazi and more, in “SEINFELD – A XXX PARODY”. Starring an All-Star cast, Ashlynn Brooke, Sadie West, Sasha Grey, Kristina Rose, London Keyes, Nathalie Norton, Cassandra Calogera, James Deen, Eric John, Tony Disergio and Evan Stone. “SEINFELD – A XXX PARODY” is your Serenity Now!”

Hello Kitty Turns 35

Posted by KAGE on Jul 06 2009 | Design, Fashion, Inspiration

Sanrio will have being doing it huge with the Hello Kitty icon for 35 years on November 1st. With branding on clothing and accessories to kitchen appliances to feminine hygiene products, you slap that simplified white cat face on anything and guaranteed it will be bought up by little girls, otaku and candy ravers stil stuck in 1995 world wide. To celebrate this occasion, Sanrio is teaming up with companies like Dell and Flik Flak and most importantly (to sneakerheads) with Asics to produce an interesting pair of kicks.

These kitties will set you back about $145 and will be available around September through sanrio.com. We’ll keep you posted on the drop.

thewhiteleaf.com – The illustration of Tristan Henry-Wilson

Posted by KAGE on Jun 30 2009 | Art

I first met Tristan the night Obama was elected President of the U.S. It was historical for many reasons: a bi-racial man and his Black wife we’re elected to live in the whitest house in the world, there was a near riot in the streets of Williamsburg (Brooklyn), and I actually hugged a hipster without getting any fleas or bedbugs.

Tristan’s work has nothing to do with any of that, but it is equally as awesome. Dancing with portraiture and surrealism in a weird three-way tango, Tristan’s body of paintings are both seductive and haunting. . . like a hipster, but better.

Coroflot – Learning from welders about the creative job market Learning from welders about the creative job market

Posted by KAGE on Jun 30 2009 | Inspiration

Coroflot has just posted an interesting article on the skill creatives need to push themselves and their work in this “new” economy. I for one am thinking about dropping my mouse and picking up a blowtorch.

Donny Goines- “The Breakfast Club”

Posted by KAGE on Jun 30 2009 | Music

NY hip hop has definitely suffered over the past several years and not because lack of talent. The place where hip hop music was born is still being held down by older heads: Jay-Z, Nas, etc. but that’s just it; it’s the older heads that are holding it down as there is a lack of new raw talent with the staying power to garner mainstream success. Most hip hop music and rap now that you hear on the radio comes from “The Dirty”, “Chi-Town” and “The Left Coast”.

Enter Donny Goines.

Donny Goines while newish to the game has a solid flow, immense beats and the personality and attitude needed right now from a New York rapper. I won’t get into a track-by-track review of his sophomore album The Breakfast Club (although I easily could), instead I’ll give you the link so you can download the full album for free and judge for yourselves.

Goines is a BEAST! Download: Donny Goines – The Breakfast Club

Whatever Happened To. . .

Fannypack?

They were around way before M.I.A. and Santogold. They helped usher in the whole female neo punk-rap-electro-dance-rock movement of the 2000s all whilst representing Brooklyn HARD. Far as I recall, they released 2.5 albums, appeared on a couple sountracks (Harold and Kumar, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry) and then gone with the wind. I wonder what the ladies are up too now. Whatever it is, they’re probably looking fine doing it.

If you haven’t heard about the new hip hop album he’s dropping, you fool better recognize. Man, all you need is the rocket experience. Having Snoop Dogg, Talib Kweli and Quincy Jones co-sign also doesn’t hurt.

Slumberland

Posted by KAGE on Jun 22 2009 | Ontspanning

A friend of mine in Ohio just started this blog not to long ago. It’s pretty much an open forum on what keeps her going. . . in Ohio. Best thing is that it is open for any and everyone to submit anything to. There are no limitations on your imagination.

Slumberland.
