Check out this cool animated trailer for The Beatles: Rockband for XBOX360. I absolutely hate this game but this actually makes me kinda want to buy it. . . Kinda.

Park Chan-Wook (bonus points if you can pronounce it correctly) is the famed director of such lovely family films like Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance and the homage to family values Oldboy. July 31st he gives us statesiders his latest film Thirst.

Thirst is an interesting take on vampire mythology where a priest becomes a vampire after a medical experiment goes awry. He must struggle with his new vampire instincts, powers and insatiable desires. When he has an affair with a childhood friend’s wife that is sick of her own mundane existence, the struggle become even more hopeless as the darkness begins to consume him even more.

For those of you not watching the Michael Jackson Memorial, here is the red band trailer for the new Megan Fox horror movie Jennifer’s Body. So far it looks like Diablo Cody did a pretty decent job mixing snark and gore. We’ll just have to wait and see if it’s worth shelling out the $12 at the theater or the $19.99 at the Best Buy.

Sanrio will have being doing it huge with the Hello Kitty icon for 35 years on November 1st. With branding on clothing and accessories to kitchen appliances to feminine hygiene products, you slap that simplified white cat face on anything and guaranteed it will be bought up by little girls, otaku and candy ravers stil stuck in 1995 world wide. To celebrate this occasion, Sanrio is teaming up with companies like Dell and Flik Flak and most importantly (to sneakerheads) with Asics to produce an interesting pair of kicks.

These kitties will set you back about $145 and will be available around September through sanrio.com. We’ll keep you posted on the drop.

Judging from these pics, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland is going to be really, REALLY creepy. A mix of CGI and live action, it presents a nightmare vision of the Lewis Carroll’s story about a girl following a white rabbit down a white hole as only Burton with his twisted sensibilities can deliver. Tim Burton once again brings together Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter as The Mad Hatter and Red Queen respectively, along with an amazing cast including Anne Hathaway, Alan Rickman, Christopher Lee, Crispin Glover and a relatively new face Mia Wasikowska (Defiance, In Treatment) as Alice.
